He was predeceased by: his wife Kathryn A. Platanos (Wepsic); and his parents, Christomos Platanos and Felicia Platanos. He is survived by: his son Christopher C. Platanos (Joanne Platanos); his grandson Nicholas L. Platanos; and his brothers, Mike Platanos of Kenhorst, Fouti Platanos of Athens, Tasous and Lambros.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for contributions be made to The International Wildlife Coexistence Network at https://wildlifecoexistence.org in memory of Mr. Nicholas Platanos.
