She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy V. Bolig (Dunkleberger) and Earl T. Bolig Sr.; her husband Lawrence H. Heffner; and her siblings, Virginia Gable and Earl Bolig Jr..

She is survived by: her daughter Susan. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
