He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Feliciano and Rosa Gomez. He is survived by: his wife Maria Virginia Cruz; and his children, Roberto Mercado, Carmen Mercado, Miriam Mercado, Nancy Mercado, Rafael Feliciano Jr. and Carlos Feliciano. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren as well as one brother.
