RayNice Joy (née Fager) Hoffman Obituary
On April 5th 2023, RayNice Joy (Maria) née Fager Hoffman died just 2 days shy of her 63rd Birthday after suffering from rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia for decades. She lived & died by her own rules.
Born April 7 1960 at the Philadelphia Naval Hospital to the late Raymond Phillip Fager & Janice Joy Rehrig Fager, and kin to the Davies, Dougherty, & Hughes families. She was the adored wife of Randy C Hoffman for almost 44 years. She worked at Billard Barbell, Turkey Hill, Black & Decker Outlet, American/Meridian Bank & Aetna Insurance. She was a student of The American Bankers Association & The New York School Of Esoteric Studies, and graduated from Central Catholic High School, Reading Area Community College & Kutztown University. She performed with various groups at Central Catholic, the RACC Choral Club, Grand Opera in Philadelphia & Reading, co-founding the Berks Grand Opera with many others. She also worked with Berks Summer Theatre, The Reading Civic Opera Society, Smagers Dinner Theater, Fiero Productions, several schools & The Reading Community Players. She once sang at the 3 Little Bakers Dinner Theater in New Jersey & for George Noory on Coast To Coast AM. She was a voracious reader & published poet, devoting herself to helping others, self growth & caring for the dozens of cats that came to us for help. RayNice is survived by her Step-Father James Kelley in Reading, Step-Mother Diane Smith & Sister-In-Law Stacey in Wyomissing, Sister Victoria, wife of Antonio Soto in Birdsboro, Brother Sean in New Jersey, several Aunts, an Uncle, many Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and many other extended family.
