Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Richard leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his wife Melissa Messner (Himmelberger); and his parents, Charles Messner and Shirley Messner (Peiffer). He is survived by: his daughters, Tulpehocken, Millersville University and Alyssa Messner; and his sister Elsie Ritchie.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Kirkhoff Funeral Home (206 N Main St, Bernville, PA 19506). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at the Strausstown Cemetery.
