He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Trefsgar and Claire Trefsgar (Mauray). He is survived by : his wife Joanne L. Trefsgar (Gross); his daughters, Kathleen M. (Jeffrey Schaeffer), Cheryl L. (Theodore Krug) and Deborah L. (Christopher Drago); his grandchildren, Joshua Schaeffer, Benjamin Schaeffer, Zachary Krug, Alicia Healy (Krug), Patrick Lloyd Drago and Bradley Drago; and his great grandchild Chase Healy.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. (739 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
