He was predeceased by: his parents, William Boyer and Elsie (Widenhammer); his wife Carol Ann (Haddock); and his children, Curt William Boyer and Beth Ann Huey.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Megan C. Fegely (Brett) of West Lawn, Barry Huey (Lynae) of Temple, Crysten Campbell (Brian Thomason) of Wyomissing, Brittany Sustala (Jeremy) of New Braunfels and Brianne Huey (Justin Rentschler) of Reading.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Take Heart Counseling & Equine Assisted Therapy, 699 Wooltown Road, Wernersville, PA 19565.
