He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustus M. Drexler and Marie M. Drexler (Waninger); his wife Nancy L. Drexler (Shoff); his son Michael R. Drexler; his granddaughter Jill L. Gauby; and his siblings, Doris Cordier, David Drexler, Mary Drexler and Teresa Niedrowski.
He is survived by: his daughters, Joanne L. Ludes (John), Debra J. Brickel (Tim), Karen A. Yocum (Joseph McKee), Margaret M. Bauer (L. James) and Rosalie A. Doerrman (John); and his grandchildren, Jessica, Jeffrey, Kelly, Bryan, Joshua, Travis, Megan, Ashley, Lauren, Chad and Cole. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (3300 Kutztown Rd, Reading, PA 19605).
