He was predeceased by: his parents, R. Norman Fry and Doris Mae Fry (Bordner); and his siblings, Ronald N. Fry, Herman J. Fry and Doris Ann Loness.

He is survived by: his wife Cathy J. Fry (Riegel); his sons, Bradley G. (Jennifer) and Brent J. "B. J." (Julie); his grandchildren, Payton K., Kylie A., Ethan J., Matthew G. and Katie L. Fry; and his siblings, Richard N. (Dorothea), William K. (Andrea), Keith L. Fry of Exeter Township, Lee J. Fry of Reading and Donna Hoover (Fry) of Highpoint.
