With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel D. Gensemer (Reading, Pennsylvania), born in Shillington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 16, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond C. Gensemer and Elsie C. Zettlemoyer (Umbenhauer); his son Samuel D. Gensemer, Jr.; and his siblings, Carl, Raymond and Pearl Gensemer.
He is survived by: his children, Heather L. (Christopher M. McHale) of Morgantown, Holly L. (Gary C. Wolf) of Ruscombmanor Township and Hugh L. (Crystal A. Gensemer) of Denver; his grandchildren, Katrina Hinnershitz, Aaron Hinnershitz (Nicole) and Jordan Gensemer; his stepgrandson Gabriel Mlynar; and his great grandchild Luca Hinnershitz.
