He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Gilbert, Sr. and Viola N. Gilbert (Smith); and his siblings, Barry Gilbert and Linda Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Vicki L. Gilbert (Kochan); his son Steven C. Gilbert, Jr. Gilbert (Heidi L. (Beachell)); his stepdaughters, Michelle L. Zimmerman (Ronald J. Zimmerman, Jr.) and Kristine A. Kuzan (late Kevin W. Kuzan); his grandchildren, Amanda, R. J., Elijah, Madison, David, Gabriela, Nathanael, Alicia, Brittany, Jeffrey, Karlene and Dillon; and his siblings, Bradley Gilbert, Randy Gilbert, Charles Gilbert, Jr., Carol Millisock and Sherry Stern. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc. - Leesport (223 Peach St, Leesport, PA 19533). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc. (223 Peach St, Leesport, PA 19533).
