He is survived by: his son Robert Newton, II; his grandchildren, Demetrius, Sr., Yvonne, Elijah, Isabella, DeJanae, Olivia, Ayana and Robert; his great grandchildren, Layla and Demetrius, Jr.; and his siblings, Zarinah Felton, Fred E. Richardson and Ray Richardson (Linda).
