For Virginia is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Kortenhorn (Miller) and Edward Kortenhorn; her husband Charles Brickel; and her sister Elizabeth Wojcichowski. She is survived by: her daughter Joanne (Joe Burkhart). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sanders Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. (1501 N 11th St, Reading, PA 19604). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gethsemane Cemetery (3139 Kutztown Rd, Reading, PA 19605).
