She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Kortenhorn (Miller) and Edward Kortenhorn; her husband Charles Brickel; and her sister Elizabeth Wojcichowski. She is survived by: her daughter Joanne (Joe Burkhart). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchild.
