He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Chaknos and Isabel Chaknos (Gannes). He is survived by: his brother Michael Chaknos (Karen) of Reading; his niece Christina Weeber; and his nephews, C. Michael Chaknos and Mark Chaknos.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church (1001 E Wyomissing Blvd, Reading, PA 19611). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Laureldale Cemetery (4631 Pottsville Pike, Reading, PA 19605).
