He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Rigby and Lillian Rigby (Ratcliff); his daughter Susan Rigby-Moore; and his sisters, Betty Smith and Mary Anderson.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Carly (Blaise Veech) and Austin (Amanda Rigby); his great grandchild Brody Veech; and his sisters, Ann Watkins and Mary Bickle of Whales, UK..
