He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Phillips and Martha J. Phillips (Bangert); his stepdaughter Pamela Plummer; and his brothers, Robert, James and David Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Phillips (Monacella); his sons, Ronald J. Phillips, Jr. (Ashley), Robert E. Phillips II (Gina) and Thomas F. Phillips (Suzanne); his stepchildren, John Wells, Kathleen Sommers (Harry), Michelle Wells and Dawn Smith (Perry); and his sisters, Kathleen McQuirns, Dolores Phillips and Jackie Gallo (Bob). He is also survived by his 23 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
