She was predeceased by: her spouse Dale E. Elfner; her parents, Paul Leiphart and Ruth S. Leiphart (Ferree); and her brother Dale Leiphart. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Kopp (Steve), William Ritz (Sue) and Rhonda Ritz (Maureen Hogan); her stepson Wade Elfner (Terri); and her grandchildren, Angel Michael (Scott), Scott Kopp (Kelli), Joshua Ritz (Brooke), Nate Elfner (Katharine), Nicole Elfner and Paul Elfner.
