With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fred W. Messerly of Red Lion, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 16, 2023 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Fred W. Messerly to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his wife Patricia "Pat" A. Messerly; his parents, William Messerly and Hazel Messerly (Kottcamp); and his sons, Randy and Ward.

He is survived by : his son Brian Messerly of Fort Myers. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Fred, along with Pat, made a commitment many years ago and selflessly chose to contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge by donating their bodies to science.
