She is survived by: her husband William Carroll Hayward; her daughters, Camryn Theresa Hayward and Taylor Elizabeth Hayward; her brother Adolphe M. Braye Jr.; her sister-in-law Sheila Merritt Braye of Chesapeake, Virginia; her sister Sigrid Braye Thurston of Hyattsville, Maryland; her siblings' children, Blake Braye, Jason Braye, Michael Thurston and Brianna Thurston; and her cousins, Turner and Emerson.
