He was predeceased by : his parents, Luther Laucks and Catherine Laucks (Fitzkee); and his siblings, James, Levere, Donald, Verne, Marlin, Wayne Laucks, Lucille Smith, Faye Ann Laucks, Barbara Crumling, Patricia Henson and Rose Shelly.

He is survived by : his wife Kay J. Laucks (Smith); his children, Natalie J. Scala and Mark A. Laucks (Andrea); his grandchildren, Todd Johnson (Tanya), Jared, Jordan Laucks, Zachary and Zoe Scala; his great grandchildren, Cole, Quinn and Emmie; and his sisters, Sylvia Laucks and Cathryn Tomlinson.
