She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilmer Howard Gettel and Flora Louise Albright; and her husband Earl L. Dells, Sr.. She is survived by: her son Earl L. Dells, Jr. (Wendy Elbasha); and her brother Raymond Gettel (Patricia) of La Veta.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Red Lion Bible Church (105 Springvale Rd, Red Lion, PA 17356). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Faith Memorial Gardens (5598 Trumps Mill Rd, Baltimore, MD 21206).
