She was predeceased by: her spouse Sharon "Ott" Peechatka; her parents, George Niering and Emma Niering (Everitt); and her siblings, Dr. William Niering and Bettina Buchmann.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Peechatka (Judy) of Scotrun and Sherry Martin (Joseph) of Reeders; her grandchildren, Bridget Townsend (Marion) of Chestertown, MD, Leigh Ellen Mitchell (John) of Throop, Deidre Martin of Waretown, NJ and Joshua Martin (Ron DeVilliers) of Oakland Park, FL; her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Amelia, Wesley, Rick Townsend, Gregory Kersavage and Brennan Mitchell; her great great grandchild Amora Butler; and her brothers-in-law, Burdett Peechatka (Lois) of Bartonsville and Rolf Buchmann of Shohola. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
