He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. Haws and Clara Haws (Sloat); and his brother Jay E. Haws. He is survived by: his wife Sandra E. Haws (Bixler); his children, Krista Mize (Tim) and John Haws; his grandson Evan Mize; and his niece Kathy Hainley (Fred). He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
