He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas W Sammons and Effie Geneva Sammons; his children, Vicki Knauff, Tiffany Fosnaught (John), Kim Lewis (Kevin) and Ken Sammons (Nancy); and his grandchildren, Zachary, Cody Gilbert (Brittany), Caleb Burke (Carissa), Nathan, Daisy Lewis, Jerry, Tyler (Jess) and Austin Sammons (Jane).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Canterbury Place Hospice (Pittsburgh) or St. Peter's Lutheran Church (Evans City).
