He was predeceased by: his parents, George Simon, Jr. and Catherine Simon (McCarthy); his daughter Mary K. Spangler; and his brother James P. Simon. He is survived by: his children, George M. Simon (Michele) of Montoursville, Timothy E. Simon of Renovo, Deborah A. Pedokus (Terry) of Renovo and Ann E. Tarantella (Tom) of Renovo; his grandchildren, Robert L. Spangler, Jr. (Katie), Corey M. Simon (Vanessa), Francis W. DeMarte, III (Carrie), Thomas E. Tarentella, Jr. (Amanda), Christopher L. Spangler (Katherine), Patrick G. Tarentella (Connie), Joseph J. Simon (Miranda), Andrea R. Tarentella (Keith), Brad L. Pedokus and Brandy L. Pedokus; his sister-in-law Ann Marie Simon of Renovo; and his siblings, Grace Marie Hockenberry and John Andrew Simon of Renovo.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Maxwell Funeral Home (205 5th St, Renovo, PA 17764). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (925 Huron Ave, Renovo, PA 17764).
Memorial contributions can be made to the Improvement Fund at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
