He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry, Sr. Ford and Naomi Ford (Parker); and his siblings, Harry "Buzzy" Ford Jr., William "Billy" Ford, Jacqueline "Jackie" Meggett and James "Jimmy" Ford.
He is survived by: his wife Marva L. Ford, Sr. (Richardson); his children, Cynthia Yates (Ronald), Tracy Epperson (Edward II), Kelly Johnson (Walter), Diane Ford (Tyrone Germany), Jodi Jones (John), Marva Ford, Jr. and Kori Ford (Scott Drudy); his grandchildren, Jeanille, Brandon, Taysia, Brooke (Shaun), Robbie (Judy), Brendon (Katrina), Breann (Cortney), Brandi, Bre (Danielle), Alysee, Alea (Dante), Londyn, Edward III, Jensine, Terron (Aluna), Perri (Brett), Yuri (Rico) and Parker; his great grandchildren, Hailee, Shia, Ta'Haera, Izaac, Braiylon, Camdyn, Rylin, Warren "Buca", Victoria, Sakei, Taelyn, Kaiden, Malachi, Lylah, Cortlyn, Justice, Tiller, Ari, Teyo, Aiya, Mila, Zyamara, Remi, Teddi, Dessalines, Keniah, Evie, Brelyhn and Brooklyn; and his siblings, Lora Jane Barnett, Joyce Lamar, Noel Williams, Michael "Mickey" Ford, Sr. (Marlene) and Deborah Ford.
