It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ethelda Cooper of Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Barbara leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald L. Halowell and Sarah V. Halowell (Douthit); her husband LeRoy Cooper; her granddaughter Lauryn; and her brother Jeffery Halowell.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Cooper, Shawn Cooper (Therese), Michelle Durbin (Ron), April Cooper (Jeff Jewell) and Shannon Whitesell (Eddie); and her siblings, Larry Halowell and Dixie Lerch. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Snyder - D'Argy Funeral Home (206 E Main St, Reynoldsville, PA 15851). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
