He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Lawrence Covert and Eleanor Covert (Pfaff). He is survived by: his children, Scott Covert of Warren, Lynn Lombardo of Bridgeville, Eric Covert (Kathy) of Mooresboro and Catherine Ohler; his grandchildren, Heather King (Joey), Christopher Covert, Matthew Lombardo, Catherine "Katie" Ohler, Courtney Ohler (Jeffrey Kuntz), Kelsey Snyder and Jessica McLaughlin (John); and his great grandchildren, Brantly, Bristol King, Anthony Lombardo and Paisley Kuntz.
