He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin J. Hughes and Marcella Hughes (McCollum); his daughter Megan Eileen Hughes; and his siblings, Timothy Hughes, Sharon Kull and Marcella Gemberling.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Eileen Hughes (Hunt); his sons, Michael Hughes (Misty) and Kevin Hughes (Maureen); and his grandchildren, Dylan, Ethan, Ella, Amelia and Fiona.
