Eugene Podratsky Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Podratsky of Richland, Pennsylvania, born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 7, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert A. Podratsky and Anna Podratsky (Murin); and his siblings, Dolores, Albert J. and James A. Podratsky.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores (Pilot); his sons, Michael F., David G. (Mary Jo Leslie) and Stephen P. (Joanie Foust); his grandchildren, Samantha Jo, Daniel J. (Olivia Keenan), Matthew T. and Edward Rietscha (Becky Wilk); his great grandchildren, Payton and Cameron Rietscha; and his sister-in-law Patricia Buck. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc. (710 Broad St, Johnstown, PA 15906). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Gualbert Cathedral (117 Clinton St, Johnstown, PA 15901). A committal service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grandview Cemetery (801 Millcreek Rd, Johnstown, PA 15905).
