With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herbert Allen Jr. of Richland, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 17, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert V. Allen, Sr. and Dorothy Allen (Baker); his wife Margaret "Margie"; his sisters, Marjorie Allen, Charlotte Darby, Dorothy Folk, Elaine Kifer and Janice Allen; and his pet Beanie.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Allen (Jan), Kimberly Riek (Butch), Susan Hambright (Rick) and Frisco; his grandchildren, Stephanie Hill, Sean Riek (Shyheim), Katie Bazan Austin (Ian), Julia Ward Plano (Matthew), Nathan Hambright, Frisco, Gloria Miller Sidman (Matt) and Michael Hockins; his great grandchildren, Elaina Hill, Christopher Ward, Plano and Theo Miller; and his pet Pumpkin.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Oakland Church (1504 Bedford St, Johnstown, PA 15902).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oakland Church or the Cambria County Humane Society, Johnstown.
