He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Hillegas and Marion Hillegas (Landers); his sister Alice Hillegas; and his mother-in-law Dorothy Martinec. He is survived by: his wife Judy (Martinec); his children, Mark (Marianne), Cheryl Hershiser (Brooke) and Christine DiBuono; his grandchildren, Hunter Redshaw (Tyler), Lucas DiBuono and Parker Hershiser; his great grandchildren, Caylee and Cassidy; and his nephew Shawn Hillegas.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Henderson East Hills, Inc. (2503 Bedford St, Johnstown, PA 15904). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM.
