Eugene Dovin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eugene Dovin of Richmondale, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Dovin and Helen Dovin (Hoholick); his siblings, Trudy Zerchak and Edward Dovin; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Dovin, Jack Zerchak, Jack Niedopytalski and Francis Surace.
He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Dovin (Benarick); his son James Dovin (Jennifer) of Richmondale; his granddaughters, Katelyn and Jenna; and his siblings, Joe Dovin (Susan) of Browndale, Robert Dovin of Forest City, Joyce Sheppard (James) of Schenectady, NY, Carol Surace of Myrtle Beach, SC and Paulette Niedopytalski of Great Bend, PA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home (513 Main St, Forest City, PA 18421). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church (306 Susquehanna St, Forest City, PA 18421).
