She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel O'Connell and Bernice Heindl O'Connell; her husband Donald S. Peterson; her son Joseph Peterson; and her sister Janice Brunner.
She is survived by: her children, Patti Toney (Dan), Lori Farace (Phil) and Paul Peterson (Dottie); her grandchildren, Tony, Stacy, Tim, Kelly, Elizabeth, Christopher, Morgan, Ryan and Sarah; her great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Isabella, Noelle, Ella, Carson, Clara, Jack, Nora, Oliver and Gwendolyn; and her sister Kathleen Reynolds (Ellwyn).
