She was predeceased by: her parents, Oden Krise and Christine Billotte Krise; her spouse Merle Prechtl; her son John J. Prechtl; and her brothers, Herman, Clair "Bill", Calvin "Joe", John, Edward "Charlie", Thomas and Richard Krise.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah "Debi" Mitchell (Jack) of Weedville and Constance "Connie" Rigard (Bruce) of St. Marys; her grandchildren, Lisa, Anthony, Brandon, Nicole, Danielle and John; her great grandchildren, Parker, Lia, Giovanni, Luna, Sierra, Kayla, Tyler, Isaac, Eli, Arionna, Brionna and Jaycee; her sister Dorothy Schneider (Michael) of Daguscahonda; and her close friend Jim "Mope" Nussbaum. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Krise Funeral Home (130 Center St, Ridgway, PA 15853). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Leo Magnus Catholic Church (111 Depot St, Ridgway, PA 15853).
