He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Plyler Sr. and Sarah Dush Plyler Wonderling; his stepfather Gerald Wonderling; his son-in-law Mark Tennant; and his in-laws, Jerome and Dorothy Bowers.
He is survived by: his wife Barb Bowers Plyler; his children, Mike Plyler and Hannah Tennant (Billy); his grandson Jordan Plyler; his siblings, Sam Plyler Jr. (Carol) and Elizabeth "Libby" McKinny (Michael); his stepsister Peggy Oliver (Buck) of Maryland; and his brother-in-law Bill Bowers (Kathy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Krise Funeral Home (130 Center St, Ridgway, PA 15853). A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
