He is survived by: his mother Heidi Smith Slottje (Jan); his grandchildren, Kianna, Thalia, Elijah, Eva and Enzo; his brother Isaac Smith (Susan) of St. Marys; his close friends, Shawn Steffan and Jeff Yates; and his aunt Sophie Miller (Lawrence). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
