Robert Nero Obituary

In loving memory of Robert Nero (Ridgway, Pennsylvania), who departed this world on August 2, 2025 at the age of 90. Robert leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Nero and Muzzetta Johnston Nero; his wife Edna Mae Mitchell; his great grandchild Hailey Matheson; and his siblings, Ann Marie Nero, Louis and Donald Nero.

He is survived by: his children, Robert L. Nero of Ridgway, Roxane Huggler of Ridgway and Doreen Matheson (Brian) of Ridgway; his grandchildren, Chris (Ali), Tim (Kylee), Brent (Megan), Nicole (Tim), Tonya (Jeremy) and Shawn (Leah); and his brother William Nero of Colorado. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Krise Funeral Home (130 Center St, Ridgway, PA 15853). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Elk County Community Foundation, C/O Hailey Matheson Scholarship or Haileys Reading Program, or Ridgway Ambulance.
