He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael S. Kovalyak and Veronica Cuneo Kovalyak; and his sister Kimberly Kovalyak. He is survived by: his fiancée Laura Schlimm; his daughters, Sydney Kovalyak of Johnsonburg and Samantha Kovalyak of Pittsburgh; his sisters, Brenda Meyer (Jeff) of St. Marys and Donna Becker (Lucy Egger) of Ridgway; and the mother of his children Christine Geer.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Krise Funeral Home (130 Center St, Ridgway, PA 15853). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
