She is survived by: her sisters, Angelina "Lena Cola" Colantuono, Marie DeMarco and Josephine DiBenedetto; and her close friend Joe. She is also survived by daughter and son-in-law, 3 grandchildren and many cherished nieces and nephews.

“Mom ... Why?? I loved you so much, but you pushed me away. I will die never knowing why. I never got to say goodbye to you. No one told me you were dying. I wanted so badly to reconcile. Why didn't you? I thought you loved me, your only daughter, your only child. You pushed me and my children out of your life. I will never understand it. Never. I thought about you EVERY SINGLE DAY that we didn't see each other or speak. I think about you every day still. I just can't get past this.”
