He is survived by: his wife Kellianne Povey Eckert; his children, Jordan Eckert and Kenny Eckert; his siblings, JoMarie Verga (Lou), Ben Eckert and Robert Eckert (Joanne); and his brothers-in-law, Jack Povey (BettyAnne) and Jimmy Byrd. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and special friends.
