He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Wean and Eleanor Wean (Leaver); his former wife E. June Wene (Lawson); and his brother Philip "Skip" Wene. He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Wene (Kerr); his sons, Ken (Vicki Wene) and Scott (Nanci Wene); his grandchildren, Kyle, Cheyenne, Trevor and Chloe; his siblings, Rev. Dennis Wene and Mary Vish; and his stepchildren, Patricia White, Timothy Snyder, Chuck Cooper, Cindy Bridge and Chris Cooper. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
