We announce the death of John R. Bowser of Rimersburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 36. John R. will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his mother Kimberly Ann Bowser (Brown); and his grandfather John Bowser. He is survived by: his father John E. Bowser (Janel) of Brookville; his siblings, Dylan L. Bowser of Rimersburg, Jamie D. Bowser of Strattanville, Thomas J. Bowser (Brianna) of Erie and Alyxie C. Hill (Dalton) of Clinton; his stepsiblings, Christian A. Tetlow of Brookville, Amanda B. Tetlow of Brookville and Tiara N. Tetlow of Brookville; and his grandparents, Carol Bowser (Denny Billotte) of Parker, Robert and Pamela Brown of Rimersburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services (758 Main St, Rimersburg, PA 16248). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
