He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Bowser and Garnet Bowser (Crissman); his wife Marie A. Bowser (Rainey); his siblings, James Bowser, Betty Craig and Helen Priester; and his son-in-law Brent McNany.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Bowser (Regina) of Shippenville, Laurie Schumacher (John) of East Brady, Linda McNany of Chicora and Lesa Grazier (Scott) of Butler; and his grandchildren, Dena Crawford (Chad), Amanda Salizzoni (Brad), Katie Schumacher, Dustin Robinson, Andrew Robinson (Beatriz), Shane Robinson, Jake McNany, Caleb McNany, Chloe Curtis (Austin) and Afton Bowser (Jayce). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services (758 Main St, Rimersburg, PA 16248). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
