He was predeceased by: his father Charles Switlick; his brother Jeffrey Olexy; and his pet Klanzi. He is survived by: his mother Josephine Switlick (Olexy); his siblings, Michael Switlick (Lisa) of Punxsutawney, Karen Balia (Joe) of Jamestown, Sharon Shawver (Steve) of McVeytown, Kathy Senior of DuBois, Sandra Burkett (Tim) of Punxsutawney, Susan Hoover (Gregg) of Bradford and Tim Switlick (Heather) of Oliveburg; and his sister-in-law Tami Olexy of Punxsutawney. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc. (115 E Union St, Punxsutawney, PA 15767). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made in Scott's memory to any local humane society.
