He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Hornberger and Berdell Hornberger (Kline); and his brother William Hornberger. He is survived by: his stepfather Ralph Wanner; his wife Shirley Hornberger; his son Lance; his daughter-in-law Paula Hornberger; his grandchildren, Austin Hornberger (Victoria), Mitchell Hornberger (Danielle Swilley) and Joyanne Hornberger (Josef Flail); his great grandchildren, Macey Mae Hornberger and Makenna Anne Hornberger; his siblings-in-law, Nancy Trim, Carol and Scott Sincavage; and his niece Paige Sincavage.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Church (99 W Park Ave, Ringtown, PA 17967). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (99 W Park Ave, Ringtown, PA 17967). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Brandonville Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that a donation be made to St. John's Lutheran Church Brandonville or the Brandonville Union Sunday School.
