He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Lindner (Reese); his children, Linda (James Tarlecki) of Aristes, Ronald Lindner (Jennifer) of Orangeville and Robert Lindner of Ringtown; his grandchildren, James Tarlecki, Jr. (J. T.), Robert Tarlecki, Bryan Tarlecki (Nicole), Kristen Smith (Matthew), Jonathon Lindner, Catherine Robbins, Sullivan Lindner and Elise Lindner; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte Smith, Alexandria Smith, Connor Tarlecki, Michael Tarlecki and Alexzander Robbins.
