With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven K. Mead of Roaring Branch, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 21, 2025 at the age of 64. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Steven K. Mead to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his father Charles Mead; his brothers, Charles Jr. and Ronnie Mead; and his nephew Brett Cohick. He is survived by: his mother Beverly Mead (Fulmer); his children, Shelly Gleckner (Lyle) and Steven Jr. Mead (Renee); his granddaughters, Lauren Gleckner of Roaring Branch, Gracie Mead of Roaring Branch, Lexie Gleckner of Roaring Branch, Laney Gleckner of Roaring Branch, Lydia Mead of Roaring Branch and Lakelyn Gleckner of Roaring Branch; his siblings, Diane Ruhl of Roaring Branch, Cathy Cohick (Tony) of Ogdensburg and Terry Mead (Brenda); his sister-in-law Bernadette Mead (Sheila Weimeyer) of Wellsboro; his friend Ellen Avery-Gastrock of Roaring Branch; and his pet Lucki. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Pepper Funeral Home (578 Springbrook Dr, Canton, PA 17724). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ogdensburg Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Steven's name may be directed to a local humane society of one's choice.
