He is survived by: his mother Nancy Shoenfelt (Edwards); his wife Michelle Marie Bookhammer (Barner); his daughter Elizabeth; his sisters, Sandy Hughes (Tom) and Catherine "Catie" Vasas (Eric); his nieces and nephews, Abbie Sampson (Andrew), Damien Vasas and Lexi Vasas; and his great-nephews, Preston and Dominic Sampson.
