It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley A. Longenecker of Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Shirley has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert E. Snyder and Rose Snyder Sr. (Fochler); and her brothers, Herbert E. Snyder Jr. and Gerald Snyder. She is survived by: her sibling Michele Bowers (Brian) of Roaring Spring; her grandchildren, Brinley Bowers and Preston Gregg (Paige); her siblings, Nancy Baker (Dave) of Martinsburg, Janet Lee (Terry) of Williamsburg, Rick Snyder (Cindy) of Martinsburg and Gary Snyder (Glenda) of Altoona; and her sister-in-law Maryann Snyder of Fayetteville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fink & Stone Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. (111 E Allegheny St, Martinsburg, PA 16662).
